Publications

Over the past 15 years I have published in the areas of quality management, quality control, innovation, software engineering, and astronomical instrumentation.

My publication and citation record demonstrates research productivity that is comparable with tenured scholars in my field, based on my Google Scholar Profile & Citations site (which does not report at least three known new citations from 2014). The H-index and i10-index metrics have been developed to assess a scholar’s research productivity in terms of the relevance of his or her research to others within related fields. The H-index reflects that n of your publications have received at least n citations each. The i10-index indicates how many of your publications have received at least 10 citations. For my peer-reviewed published research, my H-index is 4, and my i10-index is 1. This H-index compares favorably for productive researchers in management (4.17) and social sciences (3.46) as per Iglesias and Pecharroman (1997) as referenced at http://sci2s.ugr.es/hindex/. The i10-index is not yet baselined across different fields.

The lists below provide a selection of my peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, invited talks, edited proceedings, and book chapters published between 1998 and June 2014. The full list of 79 publications and proceedings, 13 book reviews, and 8 internal memos is contained on pages 7-13 of my CV.
